DOG WALKING
Teri will visit your home and walk, feed and provide water for your dog according to your specifications. She will give your dog personal, loving care and attention. Visits are a minimum of 30 minutes.
CAT & KITTEN CARE
Teri will visit your home to feed and provide water and care for one or all of your cats or kittens according to your specifications. She will play with your feline friend and maintain the litter box.
SMALL PET CARE
Teri cares for small pets, such as birds, in your home. During her visit, she will provide food, water and attention, following your instructions about the care you wish your pet to receive. She will make sure your pet's cage is clean. Call to discuss your pet and its special needs with Teri.
OVERNIGHT CARE
Teri provides two kinds of overnight care: in your home, or in hers.
In either case...
Dogs will be walked twice a day. Teri will provide food, fresh water, and personalized attention that will include play time, cuddling and brushing.
Cats will get Teri's full attention in the morning and evening. Food and fresh water will be put out and the litter box(es) will be cleaned. Of course, Teri will also play with, cuddle and brush your feline friend.
In Your Home
Most pets, according to the American Humane Society, prefer the familiar sights, sounds and smells of their own home. Teri will stay at your home, giving you peace of mind because she is dedicated to your pet's every need.
In Teri's Home
When leaving a pet at your home is not suitable, Teri also provides pet sitting in her own home. Many owners find this is preferable to leaving a pet at a kennel where pets may get stressed and risk illness. However, since Teri cares for only one pet at a time in her home, it's important to book early.
PET TAXI TO VET OR GROOMER
Teri will escort your pet by private car to your veterinarian or groomer, even when you're unavailable to do so. Finally, vet visits and grooming appointments can be made without worrying about your schedule.
ADMINISTER MEDICATION
Pets who are older or have health issues need extra love and care to keep them as healthy as possible. Teri is thoroughly competent to administer medications orally or by injection. She is trained to ensure your pets receive their medications properly and comfortably. Before administering medication to your pet, we will consult with your veterinarian.
WEEKENDS & HOLIDAYS
Teri is available for pet sitting and dog walking on weekends and holidays.

We met Teri through a posting at the laundromat. I never responded to a message board, but it was the best thing I did. Teri has been cat sitting for our family for over three years. I have found her to be responsible, attentive, and caring. When she first started taking care of our cats, Teri filled out a detailed profile on each cat so that she would know what food and treats the cat liked, and whether there were rooms where the cat was not allowed to go. She made it a point to get to know each cat and to spend time with each of them. Her attention to detail has resulted in some of our shyest cats, such as Franny, who is blind, becoming a staunch friend. Buddy will soon be 14 years old. Prior to me adopting him at the age
of 7, he had spent 90% of his life in a cage with no human contact.
Also, he was never outside, living in a studio apartment in NYC and
paper trained. Although he has developed into a marvelous little
best friend, he is still extremely nervous around new people. After I interviewed many of the larger dog walking services, I selected TLC because it is a small personal service and when I met Teri and saw how she interacted with Buddy, I knew I could leave him with her and that he would be very well loved and cared for. Teri also administers his eye ointments and heart meds whenever necessary, and will cut his nails.
Buddy really enjoys his time with her ALMOST as much as the time he spend with me – and with Buddy, that's saying a lot!. Not only during the day, but the occasional overnights when I go on business trips or vacations. Teri is totally responsible and responsive to Buddy's needs, and I feel that she is a person of fine character with a warm heart, especially for animals!

I have been using TLC Pet Sitting and Teri Gottlieb for the care of my two Black Lab Dogs and my kitty cat and I’m very fortunate to have found Teri to be my caretaker for my “Fur-Kids”.
Whenever my pets have been is Teri’s care, I’m confident that they are well cared for, given lots of attention, given medications when needed and my home is secure. She has always left detailed and informative notes about her visits with the “Fur-Kids”. It is very clear that Teri truly loves the work she does with animals. I would like to thank Teri Gottlieb for her caring and dedication to my two little pets when I was away on vacation. I have a little Chihuahua named Lucy, age 10. I adopted her at age 9 and she is very timid and spooks easily. Teri was able to feed Lucy by hand and make friends with her during the short time she was taking care of her.
My other pet is an 8 pound charming mix named Little Bit who is 16 years old. One morning, when Teri arrived, Little Bit seemed very lethargic. Teri quickly responded to the emergency by immediately taking her to the vet. She was a very sick dog. Teri then called my sister who gave the vet permission to treat Little Bit. My Little Bit is still with me at age 17, not quite as lively but loves her walks.
I thank Teri for her dedication to my pets that were in her care.
